Monarch Academy Kindergarten Admission Requirements

To enroll children entering kindergarten, you must have been selected in the lottery, and provide the following:

• Original birth certificate
• Two proofs of residence:
• Mandatory: apartment lease, mortgage statement or deed
• As well as: utility bill, current bank statement, property tax, W-2 form, social security check, current pay voucher or domestic relations check
• Completed immunization record

Kindergarten students registering for 2020-2021 school year must be 5 years old by September 1, 2020. Kindergarten registration day will be held at Monarch Academy, those selected will be notified by email, and information will be posted on the school website Learn how to prepare your child to enroll in Monarch Academy’s kindergarten.

First–Eighth Grade Admission Requirements

If your child has been selected in the lottery, and is entering first through eighth grade, you will need:

• Documentation that the caregiver has legal custody of the child
• Proof of residency in Anne Arundel County
• Original birth certificate
• Completed immunization record
• Maryland transfer form, which can be obtained from your child’s present school
