Monarch Academy public contract and charter schools are tuition-free public charter and contract schools in Annapolis, Glen Burnie and Laurel, Maryland. Monarch Academy Annapolis is an International Baccalaureate® (IB) Primary Years Programme World School serving students in pre-kindergarten to Fifth Grade. The PYP offers an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum that builds conceptual understanding through a student-centered approach to education.

Monarch Academy Glen Burnie serves kindergarten through 8th grade throughout Anne Arundel County; utilizing Expeditionary Learning, a school model that supports students’ achievement and engagement through active learning. Monarch Global Academy Laurel is an International Baccalaureate® (IB) Primary Years Programme school serving students in kindergarten through 8th grade living in Brock Bridge, Maryland City, and Jessup Elementary Schools attendance boundaries.
